About The Position

This revised version positions the role as an entry-level maintenance technician supporting both industrial equipment and robotic automation systems, making it more appealing to candidates interested in modern manufacturing, robotics, and automation while still keeping the mechanical maintenance focus. As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while learning to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, industrial robots, and automated production systems. Every day provides hands-on experience with new technologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, robotics, or other hands-on technical experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn industrial maintenance and robotics technology
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or automation systems is helpful
  • Basic knowledge of industrial robots, robotic equipment, or automated manufacturing processes preferred
  • Ability to read measuring devices and follow written work instructions
  • Safety-minded with dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in an industrial environment

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance or technical certification
  • Manufacturing or warehouse maintenance experience
  • Basic robotics or automation experience
  • Experience working around industrial robots or automated equipment
  • Experience using a CMMS maintenance system

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and robotic systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment issues
  • Replace belts, bearings, chains, rollers, filters, and other wear components
  • Help repair conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes
  • Support maintenance and recovery of automated equipment and industrial robots
  • Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs
  • Complete general building and facility maintenance
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns alongside experienced technicians
  • Record completed work in the CMMS maintenance system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
