Join us and make a difference today. This position is for a full-time Maintenance Tech I to work at Kukui Tower, a 380-unit family affordable housing community in Honolulu, HI. This is a HUD and Tax Credit property. Qualified candidates must have 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience, knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Must have a CADL, clean DMV record and reliable transportation. Must have basic computer knowledge. Salary range: $19.95- $30.40 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $19.95 - $25.18 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role. May also assist in Painting of Interior Units, Office Areas, Laundry Room and Common Area Maintenance.

Requirements

High School/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
1+ Year of Related Apartment Maintenance Experience
Knowledge and Skills in Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance
CADL, Clean DMV and Reliable Transportation
Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

Basic Plumbing including; Toilet, Faucet and minor Pipe Repair
Painting including; Preparation, Sanding and Color Matching
Electrical Repairs including; light switch, cords, ballasts and bulbs and circuit breakers
Lock Replacement/adjustment, bolt installation, window locks, latches and keys
Screen Door Repair and Replacement, Sheetrock repair when needed
Detailing Turnover Units, Completing within 5 days
