About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Plumbing.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HVAC Systems i.e., Filter changes.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Refrigeration.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Electric i.e., Distribution systems.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Carpentry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to define problems, collect information and establish facts.

• OSHA 10 Certification

• Ability to stand, climb and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders, etc.).
• Regularly required install/move equipment.
• Ability to walk and transverse property to facility work.
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
• Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.
