About The Position

Our Colorado Springs facility is seeking a knowledgeable and hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join the reliability, safety, and performance of our Facilities and Maintenance Team. In this role, you will perform inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical equipment, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. You will also partner with cross‑functional teams to understand equipment needs, communicate required changes, and support continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of Maintenance experience or related Trade School preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with electrical, water diagrams and hydraulic schematic diagrams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of injection molding press mechanics : Electrical (AC/DC), Hydraulic, Pneumatic and servo motors, sensors and HMI interfaces
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Inspects completed work for conformance with job specifications and safety requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Robot equipment to program, fix sensors, pneumatic and setting up EOAT ( end of arm tool).
  • Abilities to read, understand, and follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, calibration equipment, or process monitoring instruments

Responsibilities

  • Perform Total Productive Maintenance for all equipment related to manufacturing.
  • Track repair history in the maintenance database.
  • Installs automation equipment or projects in support of continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with injection molding presses : Electrical (AC/DC), Hydraulic, Basic Plumbing, Pneumatic and servo motors, sensors, and HMI interfaces.
  • Repair electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits as needed.
  • Replace defective components to restore proper operation of equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Make modifications to equipment to achieve desired results.
  • Maintain accurate records and metrics related to machine downtime due to maintenance issues.
  • Working knowledge and troubleshooting of robot equipment to program, sensors, pneumatic and setting up EOAT (end of arm tool).
  • Perform activities relating to 6s to drive better workplace standardization.
  • Deliver timely responses to GEMBA walk observations, quality audits, and 6s audit findings.
  • Always wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and perform duties in a safe manner that aligns with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate potential hazards, safety concerns, near misses, or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall business goals and objectives.
