Maintenance Technician I(Groundskeeper/Porter)

American Landmark Apartments, recognized as a top workplace nationally for five consecutive years, is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician I for Mercantile River District, a 325-unit residential community in Fort Worth, TX. The Maintenance Technician I plays a crucial role in the company's success, potentially involving due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company committees. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. A new bonus structure offers a $100 stipend for on-call duty, in addition to overtime pay, and bonuses of up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience in multi-family housing
- Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
- Irrigation knowledge
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment
- Responsive, courteous, and efficient in the handling all resident requests
