About The Position
The Maintenance Technician I performs labor intensive tasks and routine maintenance to equipment on a daily basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with six months of minimum experience.
- Must possess a valid Texas Class "A" Commercial driver's license.
- Skill in operating a variety of equipment.
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications or licenses.
- Ability to understand and follow the City of Conroe/Departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening as a condition of employment.
- A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required.
- Safety-sensitive positions remain subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
