About The Position

800 Tower Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include responding to and completing residential service requests in a timely manner, painting, and grounds maintenance. The role involves resolving maintenance issues in areas such as A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing, and appliance repair. Additionally, the technician will prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, and ensure the cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas. Providing residents with outstanding customer service is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

At least 2 plus of onsite experience
Possess valid Identification
Full Time Position
1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs)
Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs)
Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves)
Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and participate in an on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
Paint and pick up grounds
Painting
Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair
Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
