About The Position

Alexander Forrest Investments (AFI) is seeking a hard-working individual with previous maintenance experience to help with the upkeep of one of their apartment complexes. AFI is a mid-sized, multifamily-real estate management company with over 50 multi-family properties across the country and plans to double in size over the next year. This position comes with base compensation that is based on experience and will be between $20-$30/hour. The responsibilities listed are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by a member of the Maintenance Team.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Maintain positive attitude when under strict deadlines
• Able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
• Valid Driver's License with proof of insurance
• Flexible Availability Needed
• You will be required to be on call at all times
• Must have own tools
• Previous maintenance experience
• Professional resume with extensive work history

Responsibilities

• Responding to resident work orders
• Cleaning and renovation of vacant apartments for new move-ins
• Light plumbing
• Painting and drywall repair
• Light electrical work
• Light carpentry and flooring repair
• Able to fix standard apartment appliances: Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, etc.
