About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician with Landings Management, LLC, you’ll keep our apartment community in Newburgh running at their best — and you’ll do it alongside a solid team of techs and a supervisor who’s got your back. This is a hands-on, trade-heavy role where your skills actually show. You’ll handle the kind of work that matters: apartment turns, work orders, preventative maintenance, and everything in between. No two days are the same, and the breadth of work means you’ll stay sharp across multiple trades.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance, construction, or a trade (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or similar)
Solid carpentry skills — framing, finishing, cabinetry, drywall, or comparable work
Working knowledge of general building systems: electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
A sharp eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship
A team-first attitude and strong work ethic
Good organizational and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Complete apartment turnovers with an emphasis on carpentry — doors, cabinets, trim, drywall, paint, and finish work
Knock out work orders promptly and correctly, typically within 24 hours
Diagnose and repair issues across electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems
Execute preventative maintenance on building systems to stay ahead of problems
Respond to emergency calls on a rotating basis (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Support seasonal needs like snow removal and other property operations
Collaborate with your team on light construction and upgrade projects
