About The Position

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs. The technician works on a single fleet with advanced equipment, supporting drivers and maintaining vehicles. The position includes training in new technologies and equipment, a regular shift, and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Have 1–3 years of experience.
• Be able to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions on vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Change oil and replenish fluids.
• Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
• Perform basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
• Complete applicable Company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
