Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator - NIGHTS
About The Position
Actus Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator to oversee, troubleshoot, and monitor boiler system readings; perform equipment maintenance; and diagnose and repair equipment as needed. The role also handles operational, utility, and maintenance issues involving buildings and production equipment, including preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance. The position requires a Special Boilers license and the ability to obtain a Class B Boilers license within 18 months of hire. The role pays $27.00–$34.00 per hour based on experience, with an additional $1.00 per hour night-shift differential. The schedule is 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a rotational schedule. Actus Nutrition offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must maintain legal authorization to work in the United States throughout employment; the company is unable to sponsor employment for this position.
Requirements
- Hold a Special Boilers license.
- Be able to obtain a Class B Boilers license within 18 months of hire.
- Have a high degree of attention to detail, precision, and follow-through.
- Have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Be able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks.
- Maintain legal authorization to work in the United States throughout employment; employment sponsorship is unavailable.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of previous maintenance experience, or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
- Knowledge of PLCs and ammonia.
- Second Class B Boilers License.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, troubleshoot, and monitor readings of the boiler system.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and diagnose and repair equipment as needed.
- Oversee and troubleshoot operational, utility, and maintenance issues involving preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of buildings and production equipment.
- Perform skilled maintenance work on structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration.
- Follow written instructions for assigned tasks.
