About The Position

Bendix has been setting the industry safety standard for commercial vehicle braking systems. Bendix is a member of the Knorr-Bremse Group, the global leader in braking technologies. Our Huntington location is growth oriented, team based, safety and quality focused and is currently hiring!! Our World Class facilities are well organized, 5S’d, air conditioned and well lit. Bendix in Huntington makes engine vibration dampers, air compressors, electronics, integrated modules, and supports distribution of these products across North America . We have immediate openings for Maintenance Technicians on: 1st shift Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 2nd shift Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of industrial maintenance experience or related degree.
  • Must pass a written test.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication.
  • Maintenance of CNC machinery.
  • Plumbing.
