About The Position

This is a great opportunity to work on real industrial equipment, learn from experienced technicians, and build both mechanical and electrical experience in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working on packaging lines, conveyors, production equipment, motors, pumps, compressors, drive systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, air handlers, and general building maintenance.

Requirements

• Hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Familiarity with industrial equipment
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, wrenches, hoists)
• Ability to use multimeters and basic electrical testing tools
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals
• Understanding of safety standards (LOTO, OSHA, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CMMS/work order systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, inspections, filter changes)
• Inspect motors, belts, drives, and fluid levels using checklists
• Help install or repair wiring and equipment components
• Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts
• Clean and maintain machinery (shafts, bearings, gears, etc.)
• Record maintenance work, parts used, and repairs completed
• Support inventory tracking for parts and supplies
• Follow all safety standards (LOTO, OSHA, etc.)
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues on the floor
• Perform basic repairs on machinery and facility systems
• Help complete preventive maintenance tasks before breakdowns happen
• Replace parts like belts, bearings, filters, and electrical components
• Test equipment using basic diagnostic tools
• Work alongside experienced techs on larger repairs
• Log completed work and updates in CMMS
