As a Maintenance Technician Associate, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to keep Caterpillar's equipment running safely and efficiently. Every day is different—you'll help inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and assist with repairs that keep production moving. Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to lift, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to safely lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to continue learning and developing maintenance skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, farming, construction, military, or trade school is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person!
• Basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing knowledge preferred
• Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
• Basic computer skills are a plus (CMMS or work order systems)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
• Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment alongside experienced technicians
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE
