Maintenance Technician Assistant - 2nd Shift

As a Maintenance Technician Assistant, you will maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned warehouse areas including docks, aisles, walkways, and exterior yards. Responsibilities include emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris, and keeping work areas clean and organized. The role involves regular maintenance of sanitation lines, fire safety areas, and dock doors. You'll help with pest control by keeping doors and trash cans closed when not in use. Tasks are managed through the Corrigo system with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of experience working at Warehouse Environment
- Forklift certification
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office
- Scissor lift certification desired
Responsibilities
- Empty any trash cans or gaylords ¾ full or more in your assigned area, interior and exterior
- Dust mop and pick up trash along the shipping and receiving docks in your assigned area
- Pick up large trash and debris in the aisles and walkways in your assigned area
- Dust mop and remove trash under racks in at least 1 aisle within your assigned area (all aisles to be completed within each month)
- Remove any load stops, 2x4s, etc next to dock doors and place in recycling or trash
- Assist with keeping all doors and trash cans closed when not in use for pest control
- Complete all tasks assigned in Corrigo
- Complete any other duties as assigned
- Sweep up any trash, debris, or sand around the compactor (Weekly)
- Remove spider webs along interior perimeter walls and walkways (Monthly)
- Pick up all trash and debris in exterior truck yard and along docks (Monthly)
- Vacuum around fire risers and emergency exits (Quarterly)
- Clean out trash and debris from sanitation lines (Quarterly)
- Sweep or vacuum out sanitation lines (Annually)
- Vacuum and dust all dock doors in your assigned area (Annually)
