About The Position

The Maintenance Technician A is responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds using appropriate documents and tools. This role also assists in the installation or relocation of equipment and adheres to all safety rules. Requirements

  • Pass Maintenance A test with a 70% or better score.
  • Maintain regular attendance and work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient with a Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope preferred, and other electrical measuring devices.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, schematics and diagrams.
  • Proficient with welding tools including mig, arc, gas braze and diagnostic equipment.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Proficient with welding equipment acetylene torch, stick, and mig-wire welder.
  • Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a proven mechanical ability.
  • Proficient in using a computer for accessing and entering work orders.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
  • Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
  • Rigging and lifting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds using appropriate documents and/or tools.
  • Aid in the installation or re-location of equipment.
  • Work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
  • Perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety rules.
