About The Position

Creation Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Rochester team in a hands-on role supporting advanced electronics manufacturing operations. As a Maintenance Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment to help ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production for our customers. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities who is looking to expand their technical expertise within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Working closely with manufacturing leadership and cross-functional teams, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and advanced diagnostics while following all safety and lock-out tag-out procedures. This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday, based fully onsite at our Rochester facility. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, military training, or vocational/technical education preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance or technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures and general workplace safety standards.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment and support systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance activities while ensuring equipment performance meets operational and safety standards.
  • Follow all lock-out tag-out (LOTO) and workplace safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and external equipment vendors to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair updates, and parts usage within the CMMS system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring equipment issues and recommending maintenance or process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist with equipment installations, fabrication support, and system assembly projects.
