Maintenance Tech
About The Position
Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a hardworking and loyal Maintenance Tech to join the team at Candlewood Suites Virginia Beach Town Center. The role supports hotel operations by completing work orders, inspecting the property for issues and safety concerns, and performing preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas. The Maintenance Tech must be able to perform electrical and plumbing tasks, handle chemicals according to hotel requirements, and help maintain guest satisfaction. The posted shift is 3 p.m.–11 p.m. The position is full-time, with an estimated pay range of $15.00–$16.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on factors including relevant experience, specialized skills, qualifications, and geographic location within Virginia.
Requirements
- Good attitude and work ethic to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Ability to exert physical effort in carrying out job duties.
- Understanding of building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders from all departments promptly.
- Make rounds to check problem areas and note information needed or safety concerns in the hotel.
- Conduct preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
- Perform electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Handle chemicals according to hotel requirements.
