About The Position

Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed. Uses SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilizes computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actions. Fabricates parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment. Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Exercises judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepares business recommendations. Interprets blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and business leadership
• Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely including adhering to and following LOTO procedures
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather
• Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs
• HS Diploma or GED
