At Nature's Touch, growth opportunities are everywhere! We are seeking dependable, proactive and results-driven 3rd Shift Production Maintenance Tech. This role plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of food products by maintaining all plant and warehouse equipment to ensure 100% uptime, and internal standards to maintain the integrity of the food manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • Prior maintenance experience in the food industry.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Maintenance in a production environment. (Food MFG preferred)
  • Mechanical troubleshooting: Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors.
  • Pneumatic troubleshooting: Cylinders, Valves, Compressors.
  • Skilled in Tig welding, fabrication, and other shop equipment.
  • Conveyors, drives and sprockets.
  • HVAC and Refrigeration.
  • High school diploma or a GED certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must pay excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Safety First
  • Follow all company Safety procedures and Quality GMP's
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team.
  • Maximize equipment uptime and minimize down time through preventive and corrective maintenance repair.
  • Working with production team to change over machine and adjust for maximum efficiency while minimizing waste.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, safety design and quality improvement process.
  • Work second shift, off shift and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
