About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team of professionals. EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE!! GENEROUS TIME OFF!! The Maintenance Tech reports directly to the Sr. Director of Maintenance. Responsible for the inspection of various group homes and perform any basic repairs, which include minor plumbing, electrical work and repairs on a regular basis. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • 3-5 years prior experience in plumbing or electrical work
  • Skilled in the use of hand power tools
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, hoists, drills, etc.,
  • Experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.

Responsibilities

  • Driving is a required. Must have a Valid Driver's License.
  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • Perform quality repairs such as painting, fixing, sweeping, residence.
  • Perform upkeep on electrical, heating and air condition equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
