About The Position

Maintenance Techs are responsible for upkeep and repairs, including identifying repair needs, responding to guests’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment. The successful candidate is skilled, hardworking, physically capable, and has strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The role involves performing basic maintenance and minor repairs across hotel guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, offices, and back-of-house areas. Maintenance Techs also help maintain organized storage areas and participate in inventory control. Weekend and holiday work is required. The company conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle checks, and criminal background checks. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving.
Ability to work as a team player.
A hospitality mindset and commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform basic maintenance tasks, including painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and minor pool and spa repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
Note items in need of attention while walking throughout the property.
Respond to guest room and other maintenance calls in a timely manner.
Keep maintenance storage areas neat and clean.
Participate in inventory control.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, offices, and back-of-house areas.
