About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations and facility infrastructure. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting ability, hands‑on mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. This position is a full‑time, onsite role on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology, Journeyman Electrician certification, or equivalent technical training; OR 3–5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with PLC, HMI, PC‑based systems, and machinery controls.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Must be comfortable working in a tempered facility environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in offset or flexographic printing and/or packaging equipment.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or high‑speed production environments.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, TPM).

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance on production and support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro‑mechanical systems, including drives, PLCs, HMIs, PCs, sensors, motors, and machine controls.
  • Conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, operators, and fellow technicians to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Support and oversee work performed by outside contractors when required.
  • Plan, request, and track materials or parts needed for assigned work.
  • Participate in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives to increase equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls and unplanned equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS (Asset Essentials) and follow established maintenance procedures.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
