About The Position

We are seeking skilled, well-organized, and dependable Maintenance Technicians for full-time positions in our Blacksburg and Radford locations. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring resident service requests are completed in a timely manner with minimal callbacks, performing preventative maintenance throughout the year, overseeing the turn process when residents move out, and maintaining an excellent rapport with residents and office staff. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, a great attitude, a willingness to go above and beyond, and the ability to work overtime and go on-call. You will have at least 2 years of experience in Residential Maintenance. The Maintenance Technician must be aware of the condition of the physical property throughout the community and immediately correct and/or report unsafe conditions. You will schedule and perform minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis. Prior experience in apartment maintenance is preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

Solid background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC
At least 2 years’ experience in Residential Maintenance
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
