The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot PLCs and servo controls, and to learn and maintain certifications for operating plant equipment such as forklifts and man lifts. The position also involves computer-based tasks, including accessing and understanding information, and using Microsoft Office and other proprietary systems. The technician will need to understand the production line process, multitask in a production environment, and monitor/interpret data from gauges and production equipment. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to plant safety rules, attention to detail, and safe operation of machinery with appropriate PPE. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, operating hand and power tools, and working with all production line equipment. A key requirement is the ability to read and understand metric measurements.
