About The Position
Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of a luxury condominium community. This role plays a key part in keeping common areas and residential units operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Requirements
- General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Should know how to use a volt/ohm meter properly.
- Sheetrock, caulking, and paint experience.
- Doors/hardware repair experience.
- Understand and operate a power washer.
- Grasp of basic plumbing and electrical systems and repairs.
- Basic customer service and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Swimming pool- CPO preferred but willing to train/certify
- Introductory understanding of HVAC is preferred; knowledge of electric heaters is a plus
- Previous high-rise, apartment, or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
- Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
- Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
- Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
- Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
- Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
- Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.
