About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems specific to the hatchery. The Maintenance Tech will perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, complete and maintain maintenance/repair paperwork, and handle cleanup and housekeeping duties. Additionally, the role involves general maintenance on the building, writing requisitions for necessary tools and parts, and leading maintenance work on the assigned shift. The Maintenance Tech will perform all maintenance levels within the hatchery and undertake other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools of all types.
• Pneumatic experience.
• Electrical experience (use of volt meters and amp meters).

Nice To Haves

• Welding/fabrication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance on the building where needed.

• All other relevant duties as assigned.
