About The Position

Superior Metal Technologies is looking for a manufacturing hands-on Maintenance Tech to handle all aspects of maintenance in our 120,000 square foot paint and anodizing facility. In this position, the right person will be able to implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in methods, equipment, procedures, and working conditions. This position drives continuous improvement through the plant operation and a high level of morale. Where safety is always our top priority, balance safety, quality, cost, productivity, and achieving positive results in all areas. Demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment and safety and health management program. Ability to properly operate power tools and associated equipment. The ideal candidate must be able to perform the mentioned duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Self-starter, self-sufficient with minimum management interaction
  • Able to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Proficient in electrical AC and DC, single phase and 3 phase (480V, 277V, 240V, 120V, 24V, 12V)
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues with and without prints
  • Minor plumbing (steel and PVC)
  • Rebuild and troubleshoot pumps (centrifugal and diaphragm)
  • Proficient in welding aluminum and steel
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with and without prints
  • On call for after hours as needed
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older
  • Willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test at any given time
  • Pass criminal background and drug test to be hired

  • Minimum of 2 years working in a metal finishing production environment
