About The Position
Steel Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Welder with experience working in heavy manufacturing. The Maintenance Mechanic should be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be a vital member of our team, maintaining steel fabrication equipment including saws, punches, presses, welding equipment, robot weld lines, and painting and coating equipment.
Requirements
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with maintaining cranes and hoists.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Maintenance/ Electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as preventive maintenance (PM).
- Know 480 VAC motor controls AC crane knowledge along with Ac Drive/ DC Motor knowledge
- PLC knowledge for troubleshooting issues on the mill.
- Be able to weld
- Be able to read Electrical Schematics/Mechanical drawings
- Any other duties that may be assigned by management.
