The Maintenance Tech will assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard. This role involves performing preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., "room care"), checking and making minor repairs/replacements to electrical systems (AC controls, TVs, lighting), and assisting with routine and major repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools, and general plumbing systems and fixtures. The role also includes servicing the hotel's pool if applicable, maintaining the building exterior and "curb appeal" (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening), refurbishing furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, and responding courteously to guest requests. The position requires the ability to work in extreme temperatures and operate heavy machinery. Compliance with attendance rules and availability to work regularly are essential. Any other job-related duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
