Maintenance Tech - A Nights
About The Position
This role involves performing basic maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment, including preventative maintenance according to schedule. The technician will ensure compliance with safety practices and regulations, manage daily maintenance schedules to minimize production interference, and provide support for both emergency and scheduled repairs. Maintaining good housekeeping, handling equipment with care, and responding promptly to inquiries are also key aspects of the position. The role requires availability for overtime, including weekends, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements
- Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production
- Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas
- Handle company equipment with care
- Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed
- Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager
