About The Position

As a member of the maintenance department, the Maintenance Tech will be responsible for repairs and maintains equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned). Observes mechanical devices in operation and diagnoses malfunctions. Makes approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs. Repairs or replaces defective parts Lubricates and cleans parts. Keeps accurate preventative maintenance records and records revisions to equipment and tools. Installs new machinery and equipment as directed. Observe and follow company rules and policies. Assist in maintaining safe work areas. Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures

Requirements

  • Skilled Trades Certificate with basic knowledge of and experience with logically thinking, electrical processes, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pipe fitting and blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction (ex. Engineering specifications and/or drawings).
  • Ability to logically trouble shoot an issue or problem and develop corrective action.
  • Must be able to recognize situation and take proper precautionary measures and utilize PPE when necessary.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
