About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
  • Experience maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and following OEM safety standards.
  • Minimum of 2 years troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent attendance and flexibility to support operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks or working from scissor lifts is preferred.
  • Technical certification or an associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automated conveyance and sortation equipment.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs before failures occur.
  • Plan, schedule, and complete maintenance tasks using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create, update, and complete work orders while tracking maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues involving conveyor motors, belts, rollers, stretch wrappers, dock doors, photo-eye sensors, and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and motor control circuits.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Work closely with operations and fellow maintenance team members to maximize equipment performance.
  • Perform routine safety inspections throughout maintenance and production areas.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
