About The Position

The Evening Maintenance Tech - FT role at the Nashville Residence Inn is a full-time position responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel operates smoothly and guest satisfaction is maintained. This role involves preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, troubleshooting and repairing various hotel systems, and general upkeep of the property. Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
