Behind every flawless guest experience is a meticulously maintained environment. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in preserving excellence. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring our historic luxury property operates seamlessly. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, safety, and aesthetic excellence of guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems, upholding the refined standards expected of a five-star boutique hotel. This is not simply a maintenance role; it is a stewardship of craftsmanship, detail, and guest comfort.
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or a luxury environment
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and discreetly
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards
- Professional demeanor with guest-facing confidence a must.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience maintaining historic properties
- Preventative maintenance certification or trade credentials
- Strong organizational skills and pride in craftsmanship
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest service calls and room maintenance requests
- Maintain pristine condition of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas
- Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Support upkeep of historic architectural elements with care and precision
- Assist with light carpentry, painting, drywall, and finish work to luxury presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure seamless guest experiences
