The Maintenance Technician is an experienced self-starter with strong problem-solving and repair skills. This technician will be able to maintain, diagnose and repair manufacturing and facility equipment. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • M3+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Must possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have working knowledge of electricity, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical functions
  • Should have good PC based computer skills
  • Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all functional areas in the facility
  • Flexibility for overtime, including some weekends, as needed (often tied to production schedule)

Nice To Haves

  • Trade/Vocational education preferred but not required
  • Experience with controls and robotics is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter and be detail oriented

Responsibilities

  • Support safe work practices
  • Perform preventative maintenance of assigned manufacturing machines and equipment
  • Maintain a wide variety of equipment from complex automated machines to manually operated machines and tools
  • Use electrical schematics, technical drawings, maintenance manuals and equipment phone support to diagnose and repair machines and equipment
  • Assist with factory equipment moves and installation activities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and minor electrical problems with equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
