This role is for a Maintenance Technician on the Night Shift, working from 6:45 pm to 7 am with every other weekend off. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production machinery, auxiliary equipment, packaging equipment/automation, and building maintenance. This includes troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues, making repairs, and testing equipment. The role also involves ordering parts, operating cutting and welding equipment, installing and repairing electrical apparatus, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining the physical structure of the establishment. The technician will use a PEM system for work orders and is responsible for their own safety, that of their co-workers, and the environment, including identifying and reporting safety concerns, striving for zero waste, and participating in recycling programs. Active engagement in safety and quality programs is expected, with staff being accountable for food safety and regulatory responsibilities, and empowered to address food safety issues.
