About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong industrial maintenance background and a proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical systems. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, equipment alignment, bearings, motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and lubrication practices. Success in this role requires proficiency in welding, cutting, fabrication, rigging, and safe lifting practices, as well as the ability to work safely at heights using scaffolds, manlifts, crane baskets, and elevated platforms. Candidates should be capable of reading and working from blueprints and schematics, performing precision maintenance tasks, and leading maintenance projects or crews when needed. This position is best suited for a safety-focused professional who combines strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and leadership skills to maintain critical industrial equipment and support continuous plant operations.

Requirements

2 years millwright mechanical experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of the components of concrete and sand and gravel plants.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boiler and air systems.
Proficiency in welding, cutting, fabrication, rigging, and safe lifting practices.
Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolds, manlifts, crane baskets, and elevated platforms.
Capability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
Ability to perform precision maintenance tasks.
Leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants and provide maintenance and repair on all equipment in a timely manner.
Perform all maintenance operations (welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems) in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain equipment such as feed systems, conveying systems, scrubber systems, shaker systems, classifying systems, discharge hopper systems, weighing systems, cement storage systems, central mixer systems, load-carrying systems, drive systems, water systems, air systems, electrical systems, crusher systems, hydraulic systems, recycling systems, structural systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Inspect equipment in accordance with the company's Prescribed Inspection Schedule and complete equipment inspection and reports.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
