About The Position

Scot Forge is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Mechanic for their 3rd shift operations. This role is for a premier manufacturer and offers a career advancement opportunity. The company is employee-owned and manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings for demanding applications worldwide, including infrastructure, energy, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and national defense. The position requires a pre-employment hair follicle drug screen and a lift test up to 65 lbs.

Requirements

1 - 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and preventative Maintenance.
1+ years of plant maintenance experience
Blueprint reading
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs
Experience with HVAC or machine troubleshooting
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Mechanic Technical Diploma, or successful completion of Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program

Responsibilities

Perform technical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Diagnose combustion, electrical, mechanical equipment. Replace defective parts, reassemble and test
Perform repair with fabrication welding and torch operations as required
Work with wiring diagrams, schematics and have knowledge in 480V 3 phase power
