About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility systems in a commercial or industrial production environment. This includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 months of related maintenance experience or equivalent training/education.
Ability to read and interpret safety documents, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions.
Capable of writing reports and communicating effectively with teams.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Strong problem-solving and common-sense reasoning abilities.
Regular walking, standing, reaching, and use of hands.
Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, or stooping.
Must be able to lift and move: Up to 50 lbs regularly, Up to 25 lbs frequently, Up to 100 lbs occasionally
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper function.
Detect malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and communicating with team members.
Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
Install and repair electrical systems and components (transformers, wiring, etc.).
Maintain and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
Perform general building maintenance and facility repairs.
Install, program, and repair automated machinery, including robots and programmable controllers
Operate basic machine tools such as saws, grinders, and drills
Follow GMPs and all food safety guidelines at all times
