GBE Maintenance Tech – Level 4 (Monday – Thursday 6am to 6pm)

About The Position

Level 4 maintenance technicians work with little to no supervision. They are able to perform all levels of repair and maintenance, are experts in troubleshooting any mechanical repair or rebuild, and possess expert knowledge in electrical and electronic diagnostics, repair, and rebuild. They can fix all types of equipment in the facility and are experts in all facility repair issues. As leaders in the maintenance department, they are able to mentor, train, and lead other maintenance team members. This role typically requires 10+ years of experience.

Requirements

Basic English language skills and the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Advanced technical knowledge of controls and interfaces.
The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - advanced computer skills.
The ability to read and interpret work instructions and advanced prints and dimensions.
10 plus years of manufacturing experience; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree required.
GED or High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Correctly interpret work orders.
Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
Perform all levels of equipment repair.
Work with production to prioritize repairs.
Performs advanced troubleshooting.
Install, calibrate, trouble shoot, and program microprocessor based instruments.
Dismantle and inspect production equipment as needed.
Interface with vendors and contractors (equipment repairs, facilities, etc.)
Provide leadership and training to level one, two and three maintenance technicians.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
