About The Position

Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of complex equipment and facility systems. This role serves as a technical leader within the maintenance department and may provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, automation, motors, drives, hydraulics, and plumbing.
Experience with CMMS systems and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.
Availability for overtime, emergency call-ins, and rotating schedules as needed.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent advanced training preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Analyze equipment performance and recommend process or reliability improvements.
Install, calibrate, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
Read and interpret advanced electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical drawings.
Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and root cause analysis initiatives.
Train and mentor Maintenance Technician I and II employees.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
