About The Position

Responsible for facility and equipment maintenance. Assist in developing and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Key factors to success are the ability to assist in fostering a well-trained and motivated staff. Must be self-starting and self-directed in all aspects of the maintenance functions. Team player attributes while maintaining a professional demeanor are critical.

Requirements

  • Ability to train and provide direction to assigned personnel in the performance of a wide variety of duties related to ITC equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks/projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Five plus years of experience in a related field including mechanical and electrical equipment or three-year technical schooling.
  • Enhanced computer and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Experience in programming one or more of the following PLC programs: Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, Bosch, and more.
  • Knowledge of at least three of the following tools: Lathe, Milling machine, Surface grinder, CNC machines.
  • Understand control wiring, and logic diagrams.
  • Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and stooping might be required.
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends as assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installing and troubleshooting production machines with the explicit goal of driving OEE to be greater than 85%.
  • Initiates, coordinates, and enforces program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more skilled trades.
  • Follow and interpret blueprints & schematics.
  • Implement a standardized training program for new technicians.
  • Maintain open communication through proper follow up methods.
  • Research new trends and technologies.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Maintain various records related to labor, materials, and work orders.
  • Complete PMs in a timely manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
