Maintenance Tech III
About The Position
ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed. The Company may require that the successful candidate hired for this position be fully-vaccinated for COVID-19, if and to the extent permitted by applicable law. The Company will make exceptions for medical, sincerely held religious belief, or other legally required exceptions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Plumbing.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing HVAC Systems.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Refrigeration.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Electric.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing LOTO/safety procedures, respectable replacements, ballast change-outs.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Carpentry.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Paint.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing Mechanical - pumps, equipment.
- Basic working knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm system.
- Basic working knowledge of Fire Alarm, Wet and Dry Suppression Systems.
- Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts.
- Safety Certification/Training
- OSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification
