About The Position

Duro-Last Roofing, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope and a division of Amrize Solutions & Products, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time, hourly, first-shift position from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with benefits. The role maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and the facility, troubleshoots machinery, installs and tests equipment and electrical components, and helps ensure machinery meets applicable safety standards.

Requirements

Three to five years of industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
Experience with industrial controls.
Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and operating machinery.
Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication.
Excellent safety and attendance record.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Self-motivated and able to multitask.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Maintain the facility and associated equipment.
Work with maintenance vendors.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
Install equipment and electrical components and test them to ensure proper functioning.
Ensure machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
