About The Position

Support Maintenance Department and the mission of the company. This role requires electrical experience and involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or ammonia refrigeration systems. The position emphasizes teamwork, professional communication, and adherence to safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements

Electrical experience is required.
Experience in electrical drives, motors, motor controls and PLC’s is required.
Must be capable of troubleshooting and repair of mechanical operations to include pumps, grinders, hydraulics, air driven equipment and valves.
Candidate needs 2-5 years of electrical experience.
Must have computer experience and be capable of communicating in a digital format via email.
Must be able to pass a drug screen with THC and background check.

Nice To Haves

Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration experienced preferred, but not required.
Prefer candidate with experience in and capable of troubleshooting and repair of anhydrous ammonia chilling.
Prefer candidate who is OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certified or who has taken training within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Directly reports to Maintenance Manager and collaborates with other Maintenance Leads on concerns, problems, and repair status.
Promotes a positive teamwork environment through professional and timely communication within the maintenance department and with all other associates.
Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or ammonia refrigeration problems and completes necessary repairs using experience, hand tools, and replacement parts/components, following all safety guidelines and quality GMPs.
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical drives, motors, motor controls, and PLCs.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical operations including pumps, grinders, hydraulics, air-driven equipment, and valves.
Communicates in a digital format via email.
