About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills (ability to read, write and speak fluent English) and understanding of cGMP regulations.
  • Good procedural writing skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have 3-5 years of electromechanical experience.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS (i.e. Maximo) preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics preferred.
  • Ability to use enterprise software preferred (examples include: JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.).
  • Technical Associates degree preferred.
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures.
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in review and tracking of equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long term reliability.
  • Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures.
  • Assist in spare part analysis and inventory development.
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment.
