About The Position

Maintenance Technician II is responsible for independently performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This position requires intermediate technical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
  • Intermediate troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, or on-call shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, and work orders.
  • Coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
