Under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining assigned equipment with a focus on production and quality. The position involves performing routine inspections and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. It also includes troubleshooting out-of-service equipment, acting as an escalation point for lower-level technicians, and documenting all maintenance activities in the CMMS and ticketing systems. The role also requires maintaining operating logs for facility systems, mentoring maintenance personnel, assisting other mechanics, and performing facility/building project work such as lighting, door repairs, furniture installation, and plumbing. Additionally, the role involves assembling and testing equipment, analyzing production delays and spoilage causes, certifying on industrial lift equipment, overseeing projects like space renovations and contractor management, and monitoring/guiding junior engineers.
