Maintenance Tech I
About The Position
The Maintenance Tech I performs general maintenance and minor repairs, alterations, and additions at Asbury Grace Park, a personal care home with a secured memory care unit. The position follows the maintenance schedule and instructions from the Executive Director, along with established maintenance policies and procedures. The role helps ensure community safety and regulatory compliance, coordinates service schedules with maintenance vendors, and may assist with transporting residents to appointments as needed. Some experience with electrical work, plumbing, and painting is expected.
Requirements
- Some experience with electrical work, plumbing, and painting.
- Must obtain Direct Care Staff Training Certification within 30 days of hire; the company will provide directives.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive and follow maintenance schedules and instructions from the Executive Director and established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Perform general maintenance tasks.
- Perform minor repairs, alterations, or additions according to daily work assignments or supervisor direction.
- Help ensure community safety and regulatory compliance.
- Work with maintenance vendors to schedule and maintain service schedules.
- Assist with transporting residents to appointments as needed.
